SL 600

At Mercedes-Benz, V12 has always stood for effortless superiority in every driving situation. In keeping with this tradition, the SL 600 impresses with breathtaking performance figures: a peak torque of 830 Nm and an output of 380 kW (517 hp) speak for themselves. Likewise the acceleration time: the SL 600 races from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds.

The V12 engine draws its power from a combination of two turbochargers and a charge-air cooling system. This interplay between state-of-the-art engine systems ensures optimum response, maximum torque at the lowest possible engine speed and, in addition, reduced fuel consumption.
